What is the location of our university campus?
The campus is located 8 km from the city center and airport. The education will commence at the 2010-2011 academic year.

How can you get to the university?
University buses run to and from the city center. You can also use minibuses to get to the campus.

What is the medium of instruction?
Language of instruction at Gazikent University is mainly English. Therefore, a preparatory English program is in place to enable students to achieve advanced level of English proficiency.

Do we have an international student exchange program?
Yes, we do. We are about to establish exchange programs with American and Canadian universities that are in the top 50 world universities. In addition, we will soon have Erasmus exchange programs whereby students at year 2 will be eligible to study European universities.

What facilities does the university offer?
Our facilities include cafeterias, computer labs, library, and sports complex.

What are the tuition fees?
During the 2010-2011 education year, the following tuition fees apply:
English Preparatory School: 12.000 TL
Faculty of Economic and Administrative Sciences: 13.000 TL
Faculty of Engineering and Architecture: 14.000 TL

Does the University have any colloborative agreements?

Gazikent University aims to enter long-term educational agreements with the industrial sectors established in Gaziantep.

Is it possible for students to enter any program based on competency?
Yes. Faculty of Health Sciences will accept students for the Department of Sports Sciences through an examination in which candidates will have to physically perform according to a set criteria.

 

What is the number of senior teaching staff?
The teaching staff of Gazikent University is acquired from the most prestigious national and international universities. The academics are experts in their fields and their backgrounds.

The number of teaching staff is increasing day by day as more and more experienced scholars join our strong squad.

What are the scholarship opportunities?
The students who prefer to study at Gazikent University will get a payment scholarships for nine months according to the following criteria bason the results they get on Y-OSS.

• 2.600 TL payment placed in the first 100,
• 2.400 TL payment between 101-500
• 2.200 TL payment betwen 501-1000
• 1.500 TL payment betwen 1001-5000
• 750 TL payment betwen 5001-10000.

In addition, students in the above mentioned categories (those who are in the top 10.000 placement) will be exempt from paying the tuition fee (except those who get a placement in the second round).
Further, these students will get an extra 2.000 TL per education year.
Finally, they will stay in the student hostels for free.

What are the libarary facilities?
We are constructing a great that compliments and supports the education and research, meeting the needs of students and staff for information, documention, as well as enabling them to catch up with the most recent developments in sciences.

The library will provide access to print or digital international journals and periodicals besides world classics, textbooks, encyclopedias, international publications, and works of literature.
